How embedded is the benefit realisation plan amongst research management enhancement projects?
ABSTRACT
Research management services are dynamic and ever-changing fields providing the best service to academics and research students by utilising systems and technologies at their disposal.
In Research Domain, we endeavor to provide best support to the research management services and researchers with the most up to date technologies which are delivered incrementally via projects. But how can we ensure the benefits we intended for our stakeholders was delivered, especially when studies have shown that 70% of projects fail to deliver their expected benefits?
In this paper, we present the pilot that was run on benefits realisation in our portfolio and share the learnings of that pilot, highlighting challenges in planning for the benefits and tracking their realisation.
