The theme of the Communities Conference, Sector Strong, reflects the positive outcomes experienced across the sector as a result of the collaboration occurring within our Communities.  

The inaugural Communities Conference is a highly-requested platform to accelerate this collaboration and enhance connections across the sector.

CONFERENCE FORMAT

The Communities Conference will bring together Members of CAUDIT's Communities of Practice and Special Interest Groups to celebrate innovations, explore challenges and opportunities, and share best practices. 

The Conference agenda will feature plenary, panel, and technical sessions spanning a range of CoP disciplines and several networking opportunities

Individual Community sessions will be spread out over the 2.5 days to allow community members to sit in on other community sessions ensuring maximum exposure to other topics that are also relevant to your work.

Concurrent sessions will run for approximately 25 minutes. 

SUBMISSION SELECTION

Submissions will be reviewed by the respective Community Chairs and will be assessed based on relevance to the community, originality and the possibilities for the audience to learn something new and/or to apply the content.

The conference is designed to work harmoniously with existing Community events and sessions.  Submissions that are not able to be included in the Conference Agenda will likely be bookmarked for future Community online meetings. 

Please note: Vendors wishing to submit an abstract must ensure their submission is  a case study co-presented with a CAUDIT member institution. If this is not the case the abstract will not be considered.

To submit your presentation idea, use the button above and provide:

-        Your name, organisation, position and email address

-        Session Title

-        The Community discipline your presentation relates to

-        Description (maximum 100 words)

-        Photo of yourself.  As a presenter your image may be used on the event website.

We believe that there is a wealth of potential speakers who may not yet realise their own calling. We encourage you to embrace your community and get involved by participating in the most collaborative event of the year.


KEY DATES

Submissions received prior to the closing date (29 March 2024) will receive guaranteed inclusion in the program.  Submissions received following this date will be included where there is space within the program.
