This presentation delves into La Trobe University's innovative approach to IT procurement, emphasising the center-led model as a collaborative endeavour, epitomised by the concept that "Buying is a Team Sport."
It charts the university's journey from pre-Covid times to the present and future, highlighting how collaboration and partnership within the Information Services division have been instrumental in navigating the complexities of modern procurement.
The narrative underscores the evolution of procurement practices, focusing on the challenges overcome and the adaptive strategies that led to enhanced efficiency, cost savings, and strengthened supplier relationships. 

We will finish with a co-presentation segment on Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) sharing key successes and learnings, illustrating the critical role of teamwork and effective communication in achieving procurement excellence.
