Before engaging with a vendor to purchase their product or utilise their service, CAUDIT members will typically consider various aspects of the vendor/product/service as a part of their governance activities. CAUDIT is utilising a risk assessment tool common to the higher ed sector, a HECVAT, that members are able to review and use as a starting input into their governance activity.
