Why you should attend

The Communities Day is an exciting new event where members from CAUDIT Communities of Practice come together to connect with your community, as well as members of other communities to share experiences, highlighting and celebrating the linkages across the higher education IT landscape.

The Communities Day will be an 'unconference' format, giving the day an opportunity to thrive without predefined topics and boundaries. Follow this link for more information.

The agenda
For the day is an 'unconference' format to allow for topical and fluid discussions driven by  participants.  You will hear from different Community members on the current state of play within their organisations and what it means to be in community leadership positions.  Whether you are decompressing after THETA, or just attending the Communities Day, the Communities Day offers you the opportunity to establish and solidify professional connections across the sector that you will utilise throughout your career in the sector.

• Start Time:  9am (arrival from 8.30)
• End Time: 5pm 
• Pre Dinner Drinks from 5:30pm
• Dinner from 6.30pm

Dinner
The Communities Day will flow into the early evening with the chance to learn more about each other during a relaxed networking dinner held from 5.30pm on the roof top of The Warehouse.  

Whether you are attending just the Communities Day or both the day and the dinner, registration is required for catering and seating numbers.

The venue

The Loft at The Warehouse in Fortitude Valley Qld has been selected deliberately for it's unique character, away from a traditional meeting space to harness creative and purposeful conversations.

The Communities Day is proudly supported by funding from the CAUDIT Enterprise Architects, P3M and IT Procurement Communities of Practice and welcomes practitioners from all of CAUDIT's Communities of Practice.
